in the zone

a couple of weeks ago, my sisters Melissa, Brynn and I went to the Britney Spears Circus concert. it was somewhat of a last minute decision so we decided to look on craigslist, etc. to find tickets. Several sketchy people and false promises later, we ended up going to the Tacoma Dome to buy off scalpers. Now, imagine three little blonde girls asking these huge guys for tickets. They tried to rip us off but luckily we held our ground and ended up getting a great deal for...nosebleeds. We were just glad to get in to catch a glimpse of Britney and the Pussycat Dolls.

HOWEVER, after the PSD performed, a message flashed on the jumbo tron that said "text to win a VIP upgrade" and followed with instructions on how to text in a specific lyric to a number that would be flashed momentarily. As luck would have it, my sisters and I all texted in and MELISSA WON! We went down and took pictures with the virgin mobile "angels" and were given VIP upgrade tickets. For the entire Britney portion of the concert we had great seats and sat by fun people who were dancing and singing along to all the songs just like us! (Stark contrast from the moms and drunk people fighting up in the nosebleeds)

In all, it was a great concert that was very entertaining. We knew going into it that Britney would not be some amazing singer but a great performer and she didn't disappoint! There were acrobats, incredible dancers, contortionists, everything you could expect from a circus. Loved it!
