Go Dodgers!!

So, one of the many wonderful things we were able to do in California was go to a Dodger game. None of us had been to a game outside Seattle so it was a fun experience. The stadium is on the top of this huge hill so you can see out across L.A. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful warm night. Before the game we had our favorite french dip sandwiches at Phillipe's which truly is legendary.

The game itself was also pretty amazing. The Dodgers scored 10 runs in the first inning. Also, in about the fourth inning it seems like, the pitcher threw a fast ball and we all heard a pop and then the umpire literally fell backwards as if it was like a movie. He was unconcious and they had to drive an ambulance out to the field. It was nuts. I have never seen anything like that. Luckily, the guy ended up ok but they still took him to the hospital and played the game with three refs. Craziness. Later that night we drove around and found all the hot spots like Les Deux, Van Guard, Area, you know, the places that we could easily get into, especially considering how hot we looked. Sadly though, no celeb sightings.:(
